The Adil group is one of the largest family owned quick service restaurant operators in the UK. In addition, we own and operate fully serviced Boutique hotels as well as a commercial and residential property portfolio. Our purpose built head office is based in Wembley, London. We remain focused on owning and operating businesses within the restaurant and property sectors staying true to The Adil Group’s strategy from day one, namely that people will always require affordable food and accommodation.
We are widely regarded as high calibre growth partners for KFC, Costa, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Anytime Fitness, as a result of delivering outstanding operations which are underpinned by a world class senior management team and work force. Our hotels are operated under our own Brand being Maitrise Hotels. We currently own and operate over 75 KFC’s, 16 Burger King’s, over 50 Costa Coffee units, over 29 Taco Bell’s, and an Anytime Fitness Gym.
We have acquired the rights to develop the Taco Bell brand throughout Scotland, the East Midlands and London. Our restaurants are located from as far south as Chatham, Kent to as far north as Forfar, Scotland. We have a number of new restaurant openings scheduled with a good development pipeline. We are growth hungry and always on the lookout for opportunities, including, partnering with new brands.

History
The Adil Group was formed by our Chairman Mohammed Adil OBE in 1969 from humble beginnings. Mohammed realised at the time that fast food was here to stay in the UK and was the first Asian franchisee of the then prestigious Wimpy brand.

Giving Back
The Adil Group understand the importance of giving back to the community and are proud to support a number of charities, including the Costa foundation, Add Hope and Barnardos. In addition, The Adil family have set up their own foundation which helps the under-privileged in rural communities.

Unlike most other restaurant operators, the Adil Group are truly masters of their own destiny and have a strong balance sheet. Most of our restaurants and all of our property portfolio, including hotels, are freeholds which are owned by the Adil Group. This has enabled us to continually reinvest in the property portfolio and our assets to ensure they are well maintained and exceed brand standards.
Our expertise are second to none in identifying ideal locations where we purchase land and build Drive Thru restaurants which are operated by us with one of our Brand partners. Year after year, we have been presented with awards for our continued development of unearthing new sites.
We have completed numerous new to market site developments such as The Beacon, Hull, Gainsborough and Calder Park in Wakefield. The Beacon, Hull and Calder Park were significant new builds whereas Gainsborough was a demolition of a previous Magistrates Court and a new build Drive Thru Restaurant. We have built Drive Thru restaurants throughout the UK and have the necessary expertise to bring new sites to their full potential.
The Adil Group has further diversified and acquired its first Leisure Park in Scunthorpe in February 2015. Gallagher retail and Leisure Park comprises of a Travelodge, KFC, Pizza Hut, Frankie & Benny’s and McDonalds, totalling 25,816 square ft with a further 2.64 acre plot for future developments.
In addition, we acquired Phoenix Leisure Park, Linwood, Scotland in 2016 which comprises of four stand alone restaurant units being KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King and Ashoka Cook School.
