We acquired the Costa franchise in 2007 and have since opened over 50 stores across the UK. Spotting the rise of coffee culture early, we saw the demand for high-quality coffee experiences in comfortable, connected spaces. Today, with Brits drinking around 55 million cups daily, we continue to invest in this growing market.

OUR STORY

The Costa Coffee experience

Costa is the only coffee chain in the UK that only uses sustainably grown beans sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. So whenever you drink Costa coffee, you’re supporting farmers and farm workers worldwide who are working to improve their livelihoods and those of their families, while protecting the planet at the same time. The Rainforest Alliance encourages farmers to grow crops and manage ranchlands in a way that looks after the land for the long-term. It also offers social, economic and environmental benefit to farmers, such as access to schools and healthcare.
Costa has been voted as the Nation’s favourite coffee shop for the 8th year in a row, but they do not like to rest on their laurels and want to make things even better. That is why Costa are always trying to improve the service in all stores with the aim of delivering the perfect cup of coffee.
